Biography of al-Harith ibn Anas
Al-Harith ibn Anas ibn Rafi' ibn Amr al-Qays ibn Zayd ibn Abd al-Ashhal al-Ansari al-Awsi, then al-Ashhali said: Anas is Abu al-Haisar, he witnessed Badr, and was killed as a martyr on the Day of Uhud, and Ibn Ishaq and al-Kalbi agreed with him.
He was mentioned by the three, except that Abu Na'im considered this Al-Harith to be different, so Ibn Anas said: Ibn Ishaq disagreed with Abu Ma'shar, so he said: Al-Harith ibn Aws.
And Uraita said: Al-Harith ibn Ashim, this is the statement of Abu Na'im, for he considered the three to be one.
He disagreed with Ibn Mandah, so he made them two: one of them Al-Harith ibn Anas, and it was said: the son of Aws ibn Rafi', and the second: Al-Harith ibn Ashim, and Abu Umar made Al-Harith ibn Aws different from Al-Harith ibn Anas ibn Rafi', except that he said about Al-Harith ibn Anas ibn Malik: I fear that he is the son of Rafi' al-Ashhali, on the basis of
