Jubayb ibn al-Harith

Jabib ibn al-Harith is mentioned in a hadith of Hisham ibn Urwa, from his father, from A'ishah, who said: Jabib ibn al-Harith came to the Messenger of Allah and said: O Messenger of Allah, I am a man prone to sins, he said: Then repent to Allah, O Jabib. He said: O Messenger of Allah, I repent, then I return, he said: Whenever you commit a sin, repent, he said: O Messenger of Allah, then my sins are numerous, he said: Allah forgives more than your sins, O Jabib ibn al-Harith.

It was narrated by the three (Ibn Manda, Abū Nuʿaym, Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr) Jabib: A diminutive form of Jab.
