Simak ibn Sa'd

Sumayk ibn Sa'd ibn Tha'laba ibn Khalas ibn Zayd ibn Malik ibn Tha'laba ibn Ka'b ibn al-Khazraj ibn al-Harith ibn al-Khazraj al-Ansari al-Khazrajy, brother of Bishr ibn Sa'd, father of al-Nu'man ibn Bishr, witnessed the Battle of Badr with his brother Bishr, and also witnessed the Battle of Uhud, but did not have any children.

Transmitted by Abu Na'im, Abu 'Umar, and Abu Musa.

Khalas: With a kh (خ) letter pronounced with a fatha (فتح), and a lam (لام) letter pronounced with a kasra (كسرة).
