Allah dit : « L'étoile perçante (al-thâqib) » (At-Târiq : 3).
L'étoile est appelée 'thâqib' car sa lumière intense semble percer l'obscurité de la nuit.
Elle désigne peut-être une étoile filante ou une étoile très brillante.
