Asad ibn Ataya

د ع: As'ad ibn 'Aṭiyyah ibn 'Ubayd ibn Bajālh ibn 'Awf ibn Wadam ibn Dhubyān ibn Humaym ibn Dhuhl ibn Hanī ibn Bulay ibn 'Amr ibn al-Ḥāf ibn Quḍā'ah al-Quḍā'ī al-Balawī. He gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ at the Pledge of Ridwān under the tree; he is mentioned but has no narration.

Ibn Manda said, on the authority of Abū Sa'īd ibn Yūnus: He witnessed the conquest of Egypt.

He was also reported by Ibn Manda and Abū Nu'aym.
