Biography of Zuhayr ibn Abi 'Alqama

Usul al-Sunnah: Zuhayr b. Abi Alqama al-Sa'bi settled in Kufa.

Khallad b. Yahya reported from Sufyan from Aslam al-Minqari from Zuhayr b. Abi Alqama, who said: He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeing a man with a bad appearance, who said: 'Do you have any wealth?' He said: 'Yes, from all types of wealth.'

He said: 'Then let it be upon you, for Allah loves to see His slave's good deeds, and He does not love poverty or extravagance.'

Ala' b. Qadim also reported from Sufyan, who said: Zuhayr al-Dabbabi.

It was narrated by Abu Nu'aym and Abu Musa.
