Samurah ibn Janada

Sumrah ibn Janadah ibn Jundub ibn Hajir ibn Zabbab ibn Habib ibn Suwayyah ibn Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah al-Suwai. He said Abu Naim.

He said Abu Umar: Sumrah ibn Amr ibn Jundub, and the rest is the same.

He said Ibn Mandah: Sumrah ibn Janadah ibn Hajr ibn Ziyad al-Suwai, and there is no doubt that this is an error from the scribe.

He is Abu Jabir ibn Sumrah al-Suwai.

We were informed by Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Abd al-Qahir, with his chain of narration to Abu Dawud at-Tayalisi, who informed us Shu'bah, from Simak ibn Harb, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Sumrah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was delivering a sermon: 'There are liars before the Hour', and he said a word that I did not understand, so I said to my father: What did he say? He said: He said: 'Beware of them.'

It was narrated by the three (Ibn Manda, Abū Nuʿaym, Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr).
