Biography of Sinan ibn Salamah

Sinan ibn Salama ibn al-Muhabiq al-Hadrami is known as Abu Abd al-Rahman, and it is said: Abu Habtr, and Abu Yasar.

He narrated that he said:

I was born on the day of the Battle of Badr, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named me Sinan, and it is said: When I was born, my father Salama said: 'I would rather fight with Sinan in the way of Allah than with him,' so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named me Sinan.

Abu Ahmad al-Asakari said: Sinan was born on the day of the Conquest, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named him Sinan, and he was brave and a hero.
