Definition of To congratulate / Welcome

Al-Hanī' refers to what is pleasant and easy to digest.

The Almighty says: 'Eat it in enjoyment' (An-Nisa 4).

Hanī'an marī'an means pleasant and easy.

At-tahnī'ah is congratulation.

﴿وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلنِّسَآءَ صَدُقَٰتِهِنَّ نِحْلَةً فَإِن طِبْنَ لَكُمْ عَن شَىْءٍ مِّنْهُ نَفْسًا فَكُلُوهُ هَنِيٓـًٔا مَّرِيٓـًٔا
And give the women [upon marriage] their [bridal] gifts graciously. But if they give up willingly to you anything of it, then take it in satisfaction and ease.

﴿كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
