Definition of Joke / Levity

Al-Hazl refers to joking, opposite to seriousness.

The Almighty says: 'It is not a statement of amusement' (At-Tariq 14).

Hazala means to joke.

Al-hāzil is the jester.

The Quran is not a joke.
