Definition of Kinship / Genealogy
An-Nasab refers to kinship and lineage.
The Almighty says: 'When the Horn is blown, there will be no kinship among them' (Al-Mu'minun 101).
And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].
And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment].
