Definition of The letter Sin

Tur Sayna' (or Sina'): a known mountain.

The Almighty says: 'which grows from Mount Sinai' (Al-Mu'minun 20). 'And Mount Sinai' (At-Tin 2).

It is where Moses received revelation from God.

Sinai is a blessed region in prophetic history.
