Definition of Louse

Al-Qummal refers to lice or weevils.

The Almighty says: 'So We sent upon them the flood, locusts, lice' (Al-A'raf 133).

It is one of the punishments sent to the people of Pharaoh.

So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.
