Definition of To take / To seize
Allah says: 'Take (khudh) what I have given you and be among the grateful' (Al-A'râf: 144).
Akhadha: to take, seize.
Allah commanded Moses to take the Torah and be grateful for this immense favor.
[Allah] said, "O Moses, I have chosen you over the people with My messages and My words [to you]. So take what I have given you and be among the grateful."
