What to do when good news arrives

كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أتاه أمر يسرهُ أو يسرُّ به خر ساجداً شكراً لله تبارك وتعالى

Pronunciation

Kana-n-nabiyyu salla-llahu 'alayhi wa sallam idha atahu amrun yussiruhu aw yusirru bihi kharrar sajdan shukran li-llahi tabaraka wa ta'ala.

Translation

The Prophet ﷺ, when a pleasant event reached him or delighted him, prostrated in gratitude to Allah the Blessed and Most High.
