Akhram al-Hujaymi

Akhram al-Hajimi is counted among the Companions, based on the hadith of Yahya ibn al-Yaman, on the authority of 'Abd Allah al-Taymi, as stated by Ibn Makula. His lineage is mentioned with his son 'Abd Allah ibn al-Akhram.

I say: I think that this al-Hajimi is the same as the previous one, and no name or tribe is known for him, because 'Abd Allah is the narrator about both, and Yahya is the narrator about 'Abd Allah; I followed Abu Nasr ibn Makula in this, as he mentioned them in his book one after the other, and it is not unlikely that he thought they were two different people, and Allah knows best.
