Al-Miqdad bin Amr bin Tha'labah bin Malik bin Rabi'ah bin Thumamah bin Matrud bin Amr bin Saad bin Dhahir bin Luay bin Tha'labah bin Malik bin Al-Sharid bin Abi Ahun bin Qas bin Dream bin Al-Qain bin Uhud bin Bahra bin Amr bin Al-Haf bin Quda'ah Al-Bahrawi, known as Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad. This black man who is attributed to him is Al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghouth Al-Zuhri. It was attributed to him because Al-Miqdad swore to him, so Al-Aswad adopted him, so he was attributed to him. He is also called: Al-Miqdad Al-Kindi, but he was only told that because he caused bloodshed in Bahra, so he fled from them to Kindah and allyd with them. He then slew blood among them and fled to Mecca, where he allyed himself with Al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghouth. Ahmad bin Salih Al-Masry said: He is Hadhrami, and Abu Kindah swore an oath, so he was attributed to her. He swore an oath to Al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghouth. He was attributed to him.

What is correct is that he is Bahrawi. his kunya was Abu Ma'bad; according to another report, Abu Al-Aswad. He was an early convert to Islam. He migrated to the land of Abyssinia, then returned to Mecca. He was unable to migrate to Medina when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, immigrated there, so he remained until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, sent Ubaidah bin Al-Harith in a troop. They met a group of polytheists, led by Ikrimah bin Abu Jahl, Al-Miqdad and Utba bin Ghazwan had gone out with the polytheists to reach the Muslims, so the two groups stopped, and there was no fighting, so Al-Miqdad and Utbah sided with the Muslims. Reported by Abu Ja`far Ibn al-Samin, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, who said: From Bahra, Al-Miqdad bin Omar. He was known as Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth bin Wahb bin Abd Manaf bin Zahra, because he had adopted him and allyed himself with him. He also witnessed Badr. He had a famous position there.

With this chain of transmission on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, came when he traveled to Badr with the news. On the authority of Quraysh with their march to prevent their reproach, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, consulted the people, and Abu Bakr said. He did well, and Omar said. He did good. He then rose Al-Miqdad bin Amr. He said: O Messenger of Allah, go ahead with what you have been commanded to do, for we are with you. By Allah, we do not say to you what the Children of Israel said. To Moses: "Go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, here we sit," but: "Go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we will fight with you. He has sent you as a prophet with the truth. If you had led us to Burk al-Ghimad, we would have wrestled with you without him, until you reached him. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said good to him. And he prayed for him.

Another report states: There was no owner of a horse at Badr other than Al-Miqdad, while another report states other than him, and Allah knows that Al-Miqdad was one of the first to demonstrate Islam in Mecca. Ibn Masoud said: The first to demonstrate Islam in Mecca were seven of them: Al-Miqdad. He also witnessed Uhud, and all the scenes were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and his virtues were many. Reported by several transmitters, on the authority of his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said: "Allah, commanded me to love four people, and told me that he loves them." Some reports state: O Messenger of Allah, name them for us. He said: "Ali is one of them.

Three of them said that, Abu Dharr, Al-Miqdad, and Salman." Ali bin Abi Talib narrated on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "There was no prophet who did not give seven prominent ministers." And companions. I gave fourteen: Hamza, Jaafar, Abu Bakr, Omar, Ali, Al-Hassan, Al-Hussein, Ibn Masoud, Salman, Ammar, Hudhayfah, Abu Dharr, Al-Miqdad, and Bilal." Al-Miqdad witnessed the conquest of Egypt.
