Arbad ibn Humayr

Wahb ibn Jarir reported, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, who said: Among those who migrated with the Prophet ﷺ was Arbad ibn Humayr. Yunus ibn Bukayr reported, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq: Arbad ibn Hamza.

Ibn Sa'd reported it on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, regarding those who migrated to the land of Abyssinia, among those who witnessed the Battle of Badr: Arbad ibn Humayr, that is, with a 'u' in the first syllable, 'm' opened, 'y' doubled, and ending with 'r', as stated by the Emir Abu Nasr ibn Makula.
