Ibrahim al-'Adhri

d ': Ibrāhīm ibn 'Abd al-Raḥmān al-'udhri reported on his authority Mu'ān ibn Rifā'ah.

Al-Ḥasan ibn 'Arfah ibn 'Ayyāsh mentioned on the authority of Mu'ān, from Ibrāhīm, and said: He was one of the Ṣaḥābah, but no one corroborated this.

Ibn Manḍah said:

Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd Allāh ibn Abī Rajā' informed us, Mūsā ibn Hārūn informed us, Sulaymān ibn Dāwūd al-Zahrānī reported to us, Ḥammād ibn Zayd reported to us, from Taqiyyah ibn al-Walīd, from Mu'ān ibn Rifā'ah, from Ibrāhīm ibn 'Abd al-Raḥmān al-'udhri, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: This knowledge will be carried by the just people of every generation, they will remove from it the distortions of the extremists, the fabrications of the falsifiers, and the interpretations of the ignorant.

Al-Walīd ibn Maslamah reported it similarly, from Mu'ān.

Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān ibn Abī Karimah reported it, from Mu'ān, from Abū 'Uthmān al-Nahdī, from Usāmah ibn Zayd.

Taqiyyah also reported it, from Maslamah ibn 'Alī, from Abū Muḥammad al-Salāmī, from 'Aṭā' ibn Yūsar, from Abū Hurayrah.

All of them are irregular and not authentic.
