Jabbar ibn al-Harith

D'Ohsson: Jabbar b. al-Harith was known as Jabbar, but the Prophet ﷺ named him Abd al-Jabbar.

Jabbar b. al-Harith was mentioned by Ibn Mandah and Abu Nu'aym through their chains of transmission from Abdullah b. Talasah from his father Talasah from Abd al-Jabbar b. al-Harith, that he came to the Prophet ﷺ and said to him: What is your name?, he said: Jabbar b. al-Harith, he said: Rather, you are Abd al-Jabbar.

He was narrated by Ibn Mandah and Abu Nu'aym.
