Jahil Abu Muslim as-Sudfi

Dhahabi: Ja'hal Abu Muslim al-Sadfi narrated from his son Muslim, that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'If I were to count from my nation those who are hypocrites regarding this Quran, I would expel them.' This is reported by Ibn Mandah and Abu Nu'aym.

Abu Nu'aym said: Some people mentioned him, meaning: Ibn Mandah in a list of the Companions.

He said: I do not have any evidence of his companionship, and no one from the earlier or later narrators mentioned him.
