Biography of Sa'da ibn Haram

Sa'idah ibn Harim ibn Muhaysa reported from Bishr ibn Yasir. His companionship is not authentic, and his hadith is about earning a living through cupping.

Ibn Ishaq reported from Bishr ibn Yasir that Sa'idah ibn Harim ibn Muhaysa told him that Muhaysa ibn Mas'ud had a slave named Abu Tayyab who was a cupper.

The Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Spend it on your barber.'

The three narrators mentioned him, and Abu 'Umar said: 'He is a narrator with a chain of transmission that is not reliable.'

Ibn Mandah and Abu Na'im said: 'Sa'idah ibn Muhaysa, the one with the last letter as nun, helped him, and they said: 'Bukhari mentioned him in the chapter on the Companions.'

They did not narrate anything else.
