He was the brother of Salkan bin Salamah. Mahmoud bin Labid and Jabirah, the father of Zaid, narrated from him. Reported by Abdul-Wahhab bin Hibat Allah bin Abi Hibba, on the authority of Salama bin Salamah bin Qashsh, who said: We had a Jewish neighbor in Banu Abd. Al-Ashhal, he said: Then one day he came out from his house to us until he stopped at the meeting place of Banu Abd Al-Ashhal. Salama said: And I was speaking to the people on that day.
As a young man, on a cloak of mine in which he was lying, in the courtyard of my family, he mentioned the Resurrection and Resurrection, the Reckoning and the Balance, and Paradise and Hell. He said: This is for a people who are polytheists and adherents of idols. They said: Woe to you, O so-and-so. Do you see that this is happening? People will be sent after their death to... A house in which there is Paradise and Hell. They will be recompensed according to their deeds. He said: Yes, and by the one who swears by it. They said: What is the sign of that? He said: A prophet will be sent from this country. He pointed to Mecca with his hand....
He mentioned the hadith and was narrated by Al-Layth bin Saad, on the authority of Zaid bin Jubayrah, on the authority of Mahmoud bin Jubayrah, on the authority of Salamah bin Salamah, that they entered a feast, and Salamah was performing ablution, so they ate and then left, so Salamah performed ablution, so we said: Wasn't she performing ablution? He said: Yes, but things happen, and this is what happened. It was narrated on the authority of Mahmoud bin Jubayrah, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Salamah bin Salamah, and it is more correct.
