Thabit ibn Mukhlid

Dhahabi: Thabit b. Makhul b. Zayd b. Makhul b. Haritha b. Amr, and he is one of the sons of Amir b. Ludhan b. Khuthayma.

He was killed on the Day of al-Harra.

No offspring survived him.

Muhammad b. Bakr narrated from Ibn Jurayj, from Muhammad b. al-Munkadir, from Abu Ayyub, from Thabit b. Makhul, that the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever covers a Muslim, Allah will cover him in this world and the Hereafter.

It was narrated by Ibn Mandah and Abu Nu'aym.

Abu Nu'aym said: This is a clear error, because the narrators of this hadith are Thabit and others.
