Musa ibn 'Uqba mentioned him in Al-Budriyyun, and Ibn Shahab said: He witnessed the Battle of Badr from the Banu Al-Nabit, then from the Banu 'Abd Al-Ashhal: Al-Harith ibn Anas ibn Malik ibn 'Ubayd ibn Ka'b, as Abu Na'im said, and he said: Ibn Ishaq said, Al-Harith ibn Anas ibn Rafi', and Abu 'Umar said: Al-Harith ibn Anas ibn Malik ibn 'Ubayd ibn Ka'b, mentioned by Musa ibn 'Uqba in Al-Budriyyun, there is a discrepancy, I fear that the Ashhali is the son of Rafi', meaning: the one before this translation.
