Biography of Busr ibn Abi Busr al-Mazani

He said Abu Sa'd al-Sam'ani: He was from Mazon ibn Mansur ibn Uqrah ibn Khufafah ibn Qais 'Aylan, his son Abdullah narrated from him, he said: The Prophet ﷺ came and descended upon Abu, so he brought him food, dates, and a drink, so he ate, and brought him a drink to drink, then he offered something from his right hand, and brought him dates to eat, and when he ate the dates, he would throw the dates onto the back of his index and middle fingers, meaning: the thumb and the middle finger, so when the Prophet ﷺ rode, Abu came, and took his cloak and said: O Messenger of Allah, ask Allah for us, so he said: O Allah, bless them in what You have provided for them, and forgive them and have mercy on them.
