Jahish ibn Aways

Dhahabi: Jahish ibn Aws al-Nakha'i came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with a hadith, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) looked at him carefully.

Jahish ibn Aws al-Nakha'i came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with a group of his companions from the tribe of Madh'hij, and they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we are from the tribe of Madh'hij.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) then mentioned a long hadith that included poetry.

It was narrated by Ibn Mandah and Abu Nu'aym.
