Ziyad ibn Sa'd as-Sulami

Ziyad b. Sa'd al-Salami was mentioned by Ibn Qan' (in) al-Sahaba, and he reported from Muhammad b. Ja'far b. al-Zubayr, from Ziyad b. Sa'd al-Samli, said: I was present with the Prophet ﷺ on one of his journeys, and he did not review (the battle) after three (days).

Thus, Ibn Qan' (in) al-Sahaba made him, and the well-known companion was his father and grandfather, mentioned by al-Ash'ari al-Andalusi.
