Biography of Sa'd al-'Arji

Sa'd al-'Arji was the Prophet's ﷺ guide when he migrated from al-'Arj to Medina, Abu 'Umar said: It was said that he was from Bal'arj ibn al-Harith ibn Ka'b ibn Huwayz, as some said, he said: He was also said to be a mawla of the Aslam tribe, and he was only called al-'Arji because he met the Messenger of Allah at al-'Arj.

His son 'Abd Allah reported that he said:

I was the guide of the Messenger of Allah from al-'Arj to Medina, and I saw him reclining while eating.
