Biography of Sa'id ibn Haydah

Sa'id ibn Huyayda al-Qushayri, the father of Kandir.

He was narrated from by his son Kandir, who said: I performed the Hajj during the pre-Islamic era, and I saw a man circumambulating, saying:

O Lord, return the rider Muhammad... return to me and take my hand.

He was narrated from by the three, except that Abu 'Umar, said: Sa'id ibn Huyayda, with a waw instead of a dal, said: al-Bahili instead of al-Qushayri, said: Abu Kandir, he has one hadith in the story of Abd al-Muttalib, when the Prophet ﷺ was young and lost, and similarly said Abu Ahmad al-'Askari.
