Definition of To dive / To venture

Al-Qaḥm refers to abruptly entering a difficult matter without caution.

The Almighty says: 'But he has not broken through the difficult pass' (Al-Balad 11), meaning the arduous path of obedience.

Iqtaḥama means to resolutely engage in difficulty.
