Definition of Eloquence / Clarity
Al-Faṣāḥah originally refers to clarity.
One says: afṣaḥa al-laban: the milk cleared of foam.
Al-faṣīḥ is one whose language is clear.
The Almighty says: 'And my brother Aaron is more fluent than me in tongue' (Al-Qasas 34).
