Definition of Empty / Free
Al-Farāgh is the opposite of being occupied.
One says faragha farāghan wa furūghan: he became free.
The Almighty says: 'We will attend to you, O prominent beings' (Ar-Rahman 31), meaning We will judge you.
And when they went forth to [face] Goliath and his soldiers, they said, "Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
And you do not resent us except because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]."
Bring me sheets of iron" - until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, "Blow [with bellows]," until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, "Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper."
And the heart of Moses' mother became empty [of all else]. She was about to disclose [the matter concerning] him had We not bound fast her heart that she would be of the believers.
Surah Ar-Rahman : 31 Meccan
﴿سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ﴾
We will attend to you, O prominent beings.
Surah Ash-Sharh : 7 Meccan
﴿فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ﴾
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
