Definition of Eyelid / Dish
Al-jafna: vessel specific to food, plural 'jifân'.
Allah says: 'And bowls (jifân) like watering troughs' (Saba': 13).
This verse describes the immense vessels made for Solomon, attesting to Allah's favors toward him and his ability to host many guests.
They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.
