Definition of To grow / To rise
Allah says: 'And tall palm trees (bâsiqât) with fruit arranged in layers' (Qâf: 10).
Bâsiqât means: tall, lofty.
Al-busûq refers to height and elevation.
One says 'basaqa al-nakhlu' when the palm tree rises high into the sky.
This term highlights the majesty of divine creation.
