Definition of To humble oneself
Allah says: 'And they are humiliated (dâkhirûn)' (An-Nahl: 48).
Dâkhirûn: lowered, submitted despite themselves.
All creation submits to Allah, even those who refuse to believe.
Have they not considered what things Allah has created? Their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah, while they are humble.
And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills. And all will come to Him humbled.
Surah As-Saffat : 18 Meccan
﴿قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ﴾
Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible."
