Definition of Tall building / Lime
The Almighty says: 'and fortified palace' (Al-Hajj 45), meaning built with plaster (shid).
Al-mashid: the high and elevated. 'In fortified towers' (An-Nisa 78).
Elevated constructions symbolize power and civilization.
Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. But if good comes to them, they say, "This is from Allah "; and if evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you." Say, "All [things] are from Allah." So what is [the matter] with those people that they can hardly understand any statement?
And how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong - so it is [now] fallen into ruin - and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace.
