This section gathers two hadiths on the supplications said when entering and leaving the mosque. A good (hasan) hadith reports that when the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, he sought refuge in Allah, the Majestic, from the accursed devil. An authentic hadith teaches the formula of entry, «O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy», and, on leaving, the request to be given from Allah's bounty.
