Authentic Indeed, many women have come to the family of Muhammad complaining about their husbands. Those (men) are not the best among you Authentic hadith Whenever a woman harms her husband in this world, his wife from the Houris of Paradise says: Do not harm him! May Allah destroy you! He forbade all such transactions Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited Shighār marriage Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade Munābadhah, which is when a man throws a garment to another thus selling it to him before the buyer unfolds it or examines it. He also forbade Mulāmasah, which is when a man touches a garment [thus buying it] without examining it Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruits until they are ripe. They said: What is meant by ripe? He said: When they become red. He added: What if Allah prevents the fruits, how could one of you consider his brother's money lawful for himself? Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited the selling of a fruit until it is evidently ripe. He forbade both the buyer and the seller Authentic hadith The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited the selling and gifting of Walā' Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the transaction called Habal al-Habalah Authentic hadith "My wife has given birth to a black boy." The Prophet asked him: "Do you have camels?" He replied: 'Yes.' The Prophet asked: "What color are they?" He replied: 'Red.' The Prophet asked: "Is any of them gray?" He replied: 'Yes.' The Prophet asked: "From where did that grayness come?" He said: "It might have inherited it from its ancestors." The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perhaps this son of yours (also) inherited it (this color) from his ancestors." Authentic hadith It is sustenance that Allah brought out for you. Do you have anything from its meat with you, so that you would feed us? We sent some of its meat to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) which he ate Authentic hadith How can you (keep your wife) when she (the slave-woman) has claimed that she suckled both of you? Authentic hadith He who gives in charity the value of a date which was lawfully earned, and Allah only accepts that which has been lawfully earned, then Allah will accept it with His right hand and nurture it for him, just as one of you nurtures his foal, until it becomes like a mountain Authentic Those who can afford marriage should marry, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity. He who cannot afford it should fast, for indeed it serves as a restraint for him Authentic hadith If any of you leads the people in prayer, let him shorten it, because among them are the weak, the sick, and the busy. If any of you prays alone, then let him prolong (his prayer) as much as he wishes Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) bought food from a Jew and pledged him his iron armor Authentic hadith If you are left behind and do good deeds whereby you seek Allah's pleasure, you will be raised a degree and your status will be elevated on account of them. Perhaps you will be left behind so that some people may benefit by you and others may be harmed by you Authentic Give the prescribed shares (of inheritance) to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains goes to the nearest male relative Authentic Beware of entering upon women." A man from the Ansār said: O Messenger of Allah, what about the Hamw (brother-in-law)? He said: "The Hamw is death Authentic Silver for gold is Riba (usury) unless exchanged on the spot; wheat for wheat is Riba unless exchanged on the spot; barley for barley is Riba unless exchanged on the spot; and dates for dates is Riba unless exchanged on the spot Authentic hadith While we were on a journey with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) a man came while riding a mount of his Authentic hadith Deeds are presented (to Allah) on Monday and Thursday. He also forbade the selling of fruits but for money, except in the case of ‘Araya Authentic hadith Do not go out to meet the riders (in a trade caravan), do not urge buyers to cancel a sale transaction to make a new one with you, do not bid against each other (to fool another bidder), a townsman must not buy on behalf of a Bedouin, and do not tie up the udders of camels and sheep Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the town-dweller to sell (merchandise) on behalf of a Bedouin Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited the sale of exchange of gold with silver on credit Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of silver for silver and gold for gold except for equal quantities, and commanded us to buy silver with gold as we desire, and to buy gold with silver as we desire Authentic hadith The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited the fixed term marriage on the Day of Khaybar and eating the flesh of domestic donkeys Authentic hadith On raising his head from bowing in the final Rak‘ah of the Fajr prayer, he would say: O Allah, curse so-and-so and so-and-so, after saying: "Allah hears those who praise Him, our Lord, all praise belongs to You." So, Allah revealed: {Not for you is the decision} Authentic hadith Whenever we stopped somewhere (during a journey) for rest, we would not offer (voluntary) prayer until we have unloaded the luggage from the mounts' backs Authentic hadith They used to beat us over testimony and promises when we were still children Authentic hadith We visited Khabbāb ibn al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was ill and he had been cauterized in seven places Authentic hadith Two of the Companions of Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) who never stop to pursue the good Authentic hadith You are the Most Glorious, the Most Holy, and the Lord of the angels and of the Spirit Authentic No fasting counts for the one who fasts continuously. Authentic hadith No financial maintenance is due to you upon him Authentic The worthiest stipulations to be fulfilled are those which make sexual intercourse lawful for you Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) emancipated Safiyyah and made her emancipation her dowry Authentic hadith The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) made an agreement with the people of Khaybar to work and cultivate in return for half of the fruits or crops produced Authentic hadith During the Prophet's lifetime, a man accused his wife of adultery and disclaimed her child. So the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them both to swear the oath of condemnation against each other, as Allah, the Almighty, instructed, and they did. Then he decided that the child should be with the woman and separated them Authentic hadith You have no right over her. The man said: O Messenger of Allah, what about my money? The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: You have no right to get back your money. If you have told the truth about her, then your money was in return for the sexual intercourse you lawfully had with her; and if you have told a lie about her, then you are less rightful to get your money back Authentic hadith Once the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) entered upon me while a man was in my house. He said: O ‘Ā'ishah, who is this (man)? I replied: He is my brother from breastfeeding. He said: O ‘Ā'ishah, be careful who you (women) count as your brothers from breastfeeding, for the breastfeeding (that makes marriage prohibited) is only that which satisfies hunger Authentic hadith The Imām is appointed so that he should be followed; so, do not act differently from him. When he makes Takbīr all of you should say it after him; bow when he bows; say "O our Lord, all praise be to You" when he says: Allah hears the one who praises Him; prostrate when he prostates; and all of you should pray sitting when he prays sitting Authentic hadith When a woman’s husband died, she would go into a small hut, wear her worst clothes and would not touch any kind of perfume until a whole year would pass. Then an animal - a donkey, bird, or sheep - would be brought to her and she would rub her skin with it Authentic hadith O Messenger of Allah, I have acquired a piece of land in Khaybar, and I have never acquired a property more precious to me than that. What do you command me to do with it? He said: If you wish you can keep its origin as an endowment, and give its yield in charity
