Hadiths on Oneness of Allah's Names and Attributes

Authentic hadith Shall I not inform you about these three persons? One of them sought refuge with Allah, so Allah gave him refuge. The second one felt shy, so Allah was shy towards him. And the last one turned away, so Allah turned away from him. Authentic hadith I love you for Allah's sake. He said: May the One you love me for His sake love you Authentic Verily, Allah gets jealous and the believer gets jealous. The jealousy of Allah is when the believer commits what He has made unlawful for him Authentic hadith What is the reason for those people's fear? They willingly accept what is precise thereof, and react ruinously when it comes to what is broadly indicative Authentic hadith A rabbi came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, we learn that Allah will put the heavens on one finger and the earths on one finger Authentic hadith Allah will fold the heavens on the Day of Judgment and then take them in His right hand and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Then, He will fold the seven earths and take them in His left (hand) and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Authentic Pursue the right course and be as close to it as possible, and keep in mind that none of you will be saved by his deeds." They said: O Messenger of Allah, not even you? He said: "Not even me unless Allah encompasses me with mercy and favor from Him Authentic hadith Intercede and you will be rewarded, and Allah will decide what He loves on the tongue of His Prophet Authentic I am as My slave thinks of Me and I am with him when he remembers Me Authentic hadith If Allah wills to show mercy to a people, He takes the soul of their prophet before them, thus making him a forerunner and an intercessor for them Authentic No slave covers another slave in this world except that Allah would cover him on the Day of Judgment Authentic hadith I am more entitled to that (action) than you. Pardon My slave Authentic hadith Allah divided mercy into one hundred parts. He retained with Him ninety-nine parts and sent down to earth one part. Because of this one part, creatures show mercy towards each other, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof away from its youngster lest it should hurt it Authentic O people, indeed, Allah is good and does not accept except what is good. Indeed, Allah has commanded the believers with what he commanded the messengers Authentic Allah has written down the good deeds and the bad ones. Then, He explained that: He who intends a good deed and does not do it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed; and if he intends it and does it, Allah writes it down with Himself as ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. Yet, if he intends a bad deed and does not do it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed. But, if he intends it and does it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed Authentic Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.” Authentic O My slaves, I have made oppression forbidden for Myself, and I have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another Authentic The places that are dearest to Allah are the mosques, and the places that are most hateful to Allah are the marketplaces Authentic hadith When Allah created the creation, He wrote in a book, which is with Him over the Throne: Verily, My mercy predominates over My anger Authentic hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man in charge of an army unit who led them in prayer; he always concluded his recitation with Sūrat al-Ikhlās Authentic hadith A mount was brought to ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to ride on, and when he put his foot in the stirrup, he said: In the name of Allah Hasan O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you Authentic hadith Allah, Glorified and Exalted, laughs at two men, one of them kills the other, yet both enter Paradise. This one fights in the cause of Allah, so he gets killed. Then Allah accepts the repentance of the killer, so he becomes a Muslim and dies as a martyr Authentic Indeed you possess two traits that Allah loves: prudence and deliberation Authentic Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He does not release him Authentic hadith A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I am weary Authentic hadith Allah, the Exalted, said: Glory is My Izār and Pride is My Cloak. I will punish whoever contends with Me over either of them Authentic hadith O people, do not trouble yourselves too much. He Whom you are calling is not deaf or absent. Verily, He is with you, He is All-Hearing and Ever Near Authentic hadith Indeed, Allah is benevolent and He loves benevolence to everything. So, if you kill, kill benevolently, and if you slaughter, slaughter benevolently. Let one of you sharpen his blade and relieve his animal of suffering Authentic The son of Adam tells a lie against Me and he has no right to do so; and he insults Me and has no right to do so Authentic hadith When Allah wants to punish a people, the punishment befalls whoever is among them, then they will be resurrected according to their deeds Authentic hadith The Kursi is the resting place of the feet, and the size of the Throne cannot be estimated Authentic hadith O Allah, I ask You to help me do good deeds and abstain from evil ones, to grant me the love of the poor and needy, and to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if it is Your Will that you put some people to trial (regarding their faith), then make me die without being put to that trial. I ask You to grant me Your Love, the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds that bring me closer to Your Love Authentic hadith A Jew came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, Allah holds the heavens on one Finger, the earths on one Finger, the mountains on one Finger, the trees on one Finger, and the creatures on one Finger, then He says: I am the King Good hadith No Muslim regularly attends the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah is delighted for him just as the family of one who was away, is delighted upon his return Authentic Whoever shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine, I declare war against him. My slave does not draw near to Me with anything dearer to Me than what I have made obligatory for him Authentic hadith When Allah fashioned Adam in Paradise, He left him as long as He desired to leave him. Satan started to go round Adam looking at him. Once he saw that Adam had a hollow body, he realized that he was a weak creature Authentic Indeed, when Allah loves a slave, He calls Jibrīl (Gabriel) and says: I love so-and-so, so love him. So, Gabriel loves him Authentic hadith If the slave draws closer to Me by a hand-span, I shall draw closer to him by a cubit; and if he draws closer to Me by a cubit, I shall draw closer to him by the span of two outstretched arms. If he comes to Me walking, I shall come to him running Authentic There is none among you except that Allah will speak to him, with no interpreter between Him and him Authentic hadith Anyone loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and anyone dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him Authentic hadith The Rahim (kinship ties) is hanging on to the Hujzah of the Most Merciful; He maintains ties with whoever maintains it (the Rahim) and severs ties with whoever severs it Authentic hadith Would you not be content if I maintain ties with whoever maintains you, and sever ties with whoever severs you? Authentic Those who are merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to the inhabitants of earth and the One in the heaven will be merciful to you Authentic hadith Indeed, Allah is the One who fixes prices, the Withholder, the Extender, and the Provider. Indeed, I wish to meet Allah while none of you will have any claim against me for an injustice regarding blood or property Authentic hadith Our Lord will reveal His Shin, and then all believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the worldly life for showing off and gaining good reputation. Such people will try to prostrate (in that situation) but their backs will be as stiff as if it is one bone Authentic hadith Verily, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is characterized by modesty and concealment, and He loves modesty and concealment. Therefore, when any of you bathes, let him conceal himself Authentic hadith Allah said: If My slave draws close to Me by a hand-span, I shall draw close to him by a cubit, and if he draws close to Me by a cubit, I shall draw close to him by an outstretched arm span, and if he draws close to Me by an outstretched arm span, I shall hasten towards him Hasan When the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, he would say: "a‘ūdhu billāhi al-‘azhīm wa biwajhihi al-karīm wa sultānihi al-qadīm min ash-shaytān ar-rajīm" (I seek refuge in Allah, the Majestic, and in His noble Countenance, and in His eternal dominion, from the accursed devil) Authentic hadith Khawlah came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) complaining about her husband, but I could not hear what she was saying Authentic hadith Are you astonished at the jealousy of Sa‘d? I swear by Allah, I am more jealous than him, and Allah is more jealous than me. Because of His jealousy, Allah has prohibited immorality, the apparent and the hidden thereof Authentic hadith No one, or nothing, is more patient about the offensive statements he hears than Allah. Verily, they ascribe a son to Him, yet He still grants them good health and sustenance Authentic hadith Allah creates every maker and what he makes Authentic hadith Allah is the Physician. You are only a kind man. The one who heals it is the One who created it Authentic hadith I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) reciting it and putting his two fingers Authentic hadith The Hellfire will keep on saying: Are there anymore (to come), until the Lord of Honor puts His Foot therein. It will then say: I had enough! I had enough! [I swear] by Your Honor, and its sides will come together and it will retreat Authentic hadith Paradise and Hell argued with one another. Hell said: I have been assigned the arrogant and the tyrants. Paradise said: Why is it that only the weak, the insignificant, and the simple enter me? Good hadith People - or he said slaves - will be gathered on the Day of Judgment naked and uncircumcised Authentic Allah Almighty will say to the dwellers of Paradise: 'O people of Paradise!' They will reply: 'O our Lord, we present ourselves and are at Your pleasure.' He will say: ‘Are you contented?’ They will say: 'How could we not be contented, O Lord, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creation?' Authentic hadith Bear in mind, O Abu Mas‘ūd, that Allah has more power over you than you have over this boy. I said: I will never beat a slave ever again
