Hadiths on Prophet's Forbearance

This category brings together 3 authentic hadiths illustrating the forbearance of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). The most striking is addressed to the one who had urinated: «Let him, and pour a bucket or pail of water onto his urine. You were sent to make things easy and not to make them difficult» (no. 5806). Another hadith shows his gentleness toward his wives: after the ‘Asr prayer, he would visit them and stay closely with them. The third relates that the Jews would neither eat with their wives nor associate with them during menstruation.
