📖 1 min readعن عائشة رضي الله عنها أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقول: «إنَّ أمركنَّ لمِمَّا يُهِمُّني بعدي، ولن يصبر عليكن إلا الصابرون». قال: ثم تقول عائشة، فسقى الله أباك من سَلْسَبيل الجنة، تريد عبد الرحمن بن عوف، وقد كان وَصَل أزواج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بمال، يقال: بيعت بأربعين ألفا.
Abu Salamah ibn ‘Abdur-Rahmān ibn ‘Awf (may Allah have mercy upon him narrates that the Mother of the Believers ‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) spoke to his wives saying: “I am concerned about your affairs and life after my death, as I will not leave you any inheritance. No one will bear the burden of providing for you, except those who are patient.” Then ‘Ā'ishah said to Abu Salamah: “May Allah let your father, ‘Abdur-Rahmān ibn ‘Awf, drink from a spring in Paradise called Salsabīl,” as ‘Abdur-Rahmān ibn ‘Awf gave a garden to the Prophet's wives in charity and it was sold for forty thousand dinars.
