Ayman Sowaid: A Syrian scholar of the Ten Qira'at and tajwid, born in Damascus in 1955. Educated at Cairo's Institute of Quranic Recitations and Al-Azhar, he later earned doctorates from Umm Al-Qura and Al-Azhar. He is widely known for teaching precise Quran recitation through courses, books and television.
