Mishary Al-Afasy is a Kuwaiti Quran reciter, imam of the Grand Mosque of Kuwait and preacher in the Ministry of Awqaf. Trained in the Ten Recitations and tafsir at the Islamic University of Medina, he founded Alafasy TV and a Quran academy in Malaysia, released Quran and multilingual nasheed works, and became one of the world's most widely followed reciters.
