To pronounce the name The Incomparable Originator in Arabic, we say: Al-Badi'.
It is written in Arabic: البديع.
From the Arabic root ب-د-ع (b-d-', to originate without precedent), بَدِيع (badi') follows فَعِيل and denotes incomparable, unprecedented creation.
The Name “The Incomparable Originator” means: The One who creates without a model and whose work is without precedent. It affirms a perfection belonging to Allah without defect, limit, or resemblance to creation. In al-Ghazali’s perspective, the believer never claims to share the divine attribute in its reality; instead, the Name gives an orientation suited to the condition of a servant.
Meditating on this Name calls the believer to contemplate the wisdom of creation, respect every creature, and use one's abilities for good. Knowledge of the Name thereby becomes worship, refinement of character, and trust in Allah alone.
