Supplication of one who fears the ruler's injustice

اللهم رب السموات السبع ،ورب العرش العظيم ،كن لي جاراً من فلان بن فلان ، وأحزابه من خلائقك ؛ أن يفرط على أحد منهم أو يطغى ، عز جارك ،وجل ثناؤك ،ولا إله إلا أنت

Pronunciation

Allahumma Rabba-s-samawati-s-sab', wa Rabbi-l-'Arshi-l-'Azim, kun li jaran min [fulan] ibn [fulan], wa ahzabihi min khalayqik, an yafruta 'ala ahadin minhum aw yatgha, 'izza jaruk, wa jalla thana'uk, wa la ilaha illa Ant.

Translation

"O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Mighty Throne, be for me a protector against so-and-so son of so-and-so and his partisans among Your creatures: that none of them overstep against me or tyrannize. Honorable is Your protégé, exalted is Your praise, and there is no god but You."

الله أكبر، الله أعز من خلقه جميعاً ، الله أعز مما أخاف وأحذر ،أعوذ بالله الذي لا إله إلا هو ، الممسك السموات السبع أن يقعن على الأرض إلا بإذنه ،من شر عبدك فلان ،وجنوده وأتباعه وأشياعه ، من الجن والأنس ، اللهم كن لي جاراً من شرهم ، جل ثناؤك وعز جارك ، وتبارك اسمك ، ولا إله غيرك ( ثلاث مرات )

Pronunciation

Allahu akbar, Allahu a'azzu min khalqihi jami'an, Allahu a'azzu mimma akhafu wa ahdhar, a'udhu bi-llahi-lladhi la ilaha illa Huwa, al-mumsiki-s-samawati-s-sab' an yaqa'na 'ala-l-ardi illa bi-idhnihi, min sharri 'abdika [fulan], wa junudih, wa atba'ih, wa ashyi'ih, mina-l-jinni wa-n-nas. Allahumma kun li jaran min sharrihim, jalla thana'uk, wa 'izza jaruk, wa tabaraka-smuk, wa la ilaha ghayruk (three times).

Translation

"Allah is the Greatest, Allah mightier than all His creatures; Allah mightier than what I fear and dread. I seek refuge with Allah — there is no god but Him — Who holds the seven heavens from falling upon the earth except by His permission, from the evil of Your servant so-and-so, his soldiers, his partisans and adherents, among jinn and mankind. O Allah, be for me a protector against their evil; exalted is Your praise, honorable is Your protector, blessed is Your name, and there is no god but You" (three times).
