التحيات لله ، والصلوات ، والطيبات ، السلام عليك أيها النبي ورحمة الله وبركاته ، السلام علينا وعلى عباد الله الصالحين ،أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله ، وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله
At-tahiyyatu lillah, wa-s-salawat, wa-t-tayyibat, as-salamu 'alayka ayyuha-n-nabiyyu wa rahmatu-llahi wa barakatuh, as-salamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadi-llahi-s-salihin, ashhadu an la ilaha illa-llah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abdahu wa rasuluh.
The greetings are to Allah, and the prayers and the good deeds. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

ينفث عن يساره ( ثلاثاً )
Yunfithu 'ala yisarih (three times).
He blows to his left (three times).

يستعيذ بالله من الشيطان ومن شر ما رأى ( ثلاث مرات )
Yasta'idhu bi-llahi mina-sh-shaytani wa min sharri ma ra'a (three times).
He seeks refuge with Allah from Satan and from the evil of what he saw (three times).

لا يحدث بها أحدا ً
La yuhaddithu biha ahadan.
He tells no one about it.

يتحول عن جنبه الذي كان عليه
Yatahawwalu 'an janibihi-lladhi kana 'alayh.
He turns to the side he was lying on.

يقوم يصلي إن أراد ذلك
Yaqumu yusalli in arada dhalik.
He gets up and prays if he wishes.

اللهم اكفنيهم بما شئت
Allahumma-kfinihum bima shi't.
"O Allah, suffice me against them as You will."

ما من عبدٍ يذنب ذنباً فيحسن الطهور ، ثم يقوم فيصلي ركعتين ، ثم يستغفر الله إلا غفر الله لهُ
Ma min 'abdin yadhnabu dhanban fa-yuhsinu-t-tuhur, thumma yaqumu fa-yusalli rak'atayn, thumma yastaghfiru-llaha illa ghafara-llahu lahu.
There is no servant who commits a sin, then performs ablution well, stands and prays two rak'ahs, then seeks Allah's forgiveness, except that Allah forgives him.

بارك الله لك في الموهوب لك ،وشكرت الواهب، وبلغ أشدهُ، ورزقت برهُ .ويردُ عليه المهنأ فيقول : بارك الله لك وبارك عليك ، وجزاك الله خيراً ، ورزقك الله مثله، وأجزل ثوابك
Baraka-llahu laka fi-l-mawhubi lak, wa-sh-karta-l-wahib, wa balagha ashuddah, wa ruziqta birrah. Wa yuraddu 'alayhi-l-muhan-na'u fa-yaqul: baraka-llahu laka wa baraka 'alayk, wa jazaka-llahu khayran, wa razaqaka-llahu mithlah, wa ajzala thawabak.
"May Allah bless the gift granted to you, may you thank the Giver, may the child reach full maturity, and may you be granted its piety." And the one congratulated replies: "May Allah bless you and bless upon you, may Allah reward you well, may Allah grant you the same, and amplify your reward."

كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعوذ الحسن والحسين أعيذكما بكلمات الله التامة ، من كل شيطان وهامة ، ومن كل عينِ لامة
Kana rasulu-llahi salla-llahu 'alayhi wa sallam yu'idhu-l-Hasana wa-l-Husayna: u'idhukuma bi-kalimati-llahi-t-tammati, min kulli shaytanin wa hammah, wa min kulli 'aynin lammah.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought protection for al-Hasan and al-Husayn: "I entrust you both to the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and poisonous pest, and from every envious evil eye."

من كان آخر كلامه لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنة
Man kana akhiru kalamihi la ilaha illa-llah, dakhala-l-jannah.
Whoever's last words are "there is no god but Allah" will enter Paradise.

اللهم اسقنا غيثاً مغيثاً مريئاً مَريعاً نافعاً غير ضار ، عاجلاً غير آجل
Allahumma-sqina ghaythan mughithan mari'an mari'an nafi'an ghayra dar, 'ajilan ghayra ajil.
O Allah, give us a abundant beneficial rain, soothing and nourishing, useful without being harmful, prompt without being delayed.

اللهم أغثنا ، اللهم أغثنا ، اللهم أغثنا
Allahumma-ghithna, Allahumma-ghithna, Allahumma-ghithna.
O Allah, water us. O Allah, water us. O Allah, water us.

اللهم اسق عبادك وبهائمك ، وانشر رحمتك وأحيي بلدك الميت
Allahumma-sqi 'ibadaka wa bahaimik, wa-nshur rahmatika, wa ahyi baladaka-l-mayt.
O Allah, water Your servants and Your beasts, spread Your mercy and revive Your dead land.

اللهم حوالينا ولا علينا ، اللهم على الآكامِ والظرابِ وبُطون الأودية ، ومنابت الشجر
Allahumma hawalayna wa la 'alayna, Allahumma 'ala-l-akami wa-z-zirab, wa butuni-l-awdiyah, wa manabiti-sh-shajar.
O Allah, make it around us and not upon us; O Allah, upon the hills, the highlands, the valleys and the places of vegetation.

إني صائم ، إني صائم
Inni sa'im, inni sa'im.
"I am fasting, I am fasting."

عن ابن عمر قال : كان يعد لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في المجلس الواحد مائة مرة من قبل أن يقوم رب اغفر لي وتب علي إنك أنت التواب الغفور
'An Ibn 'Umar qala: kana yu'addu li-rasuli-llahi salla-llahu 'alayhi wa sallam fi-l-majlisi-l-wahidi mi'ata marratin min qabli an yaquma: Rabbi-ghfir li wa tub 'alayya innaka Anta-t-Tawwabu-l-Ghafur.
From Ibn 'Umar: one hundred times were counted for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a single sitting before he stood: "My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance, You are indeed the Ever-Relenting, the All-Forgiving."

سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك ، أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت أستغفرك وأتوب إليك
Subhanaka Allahumma wa bi-hamdik, ashhadu an la ilaha illa Ant, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk.
"Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You; I bear witness that there is no god but You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance."

من حفظ عشر آيات من أول سورة الكهف عصم من الدجال والاستعاذة بالله من فتنتة عقب التشهد الأخير من كل صلاة
Man hafida 'ashra ayatin min awwali surati-l-Kahf 'usima mina-d-Dajjal, wa-l-isti'adhata bi-llahi min fitnati ba'di-t-tashahhudi-l-akhiri min kulli salah.
Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of the surah The Cave is protected from the false messiah — and seeking refuge with Allah from the trial after the last tashahhud of every prayer.

كان صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أتاه الأمر يسره قال : الحمد لله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات و إذا أتاه أمر يكرهه قال : الحمد لله على كل حال
Kana salla-llahu 'alayhi wa sallam idha atahu-l-amru yussiruhu qala: al-hamdu lillahi-lladhi bi-ni'matihi tatimmu-s-salihat, wa idha atahu amrun yukrihuhu qala: al-hamdu lillahi 'ala kulli hal.
The Prophet ﷺ, when good came to him, said: "Praise be to Allah, by whose favor good deeds are completed." And when bad came to him, he said: "Praise be to Allah in all circumstances."

قال صلى الله عليه وسلم : إذا كان أحدكم مادحاً صاحبه لا محالة فليقل : أحسبُ فلاناً والله حسيبهُ ولا أزكي على الله أحداً ، أحسبهُ – إن كان يعلم ذاك – كذا وكذا
Qala salla-llahu 'alayhi wa sallam: idha kana ahadukum madihan sahibahu la mahallata fa-l-yaqul: ahsabu fulanan wa-llahu hasibahu, wa la uzakki 'ala-llahi ahadan, ahsabuhu — in kana ya'lamu dhalika — kadha wa kadha.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "If one of you must praise his companion, let him say: I consider so-and-so, and Allah is his Reckoner, and I do not sanctify anyone before Allah — I consider him, if he knows that, to be such and such."

اللهم لا تؤاخذني بما يقولون ، واغفر لي مالا يعلمون [واجعلني خيراً مما يظنون]
Allahumma la tu'akhidhni bi-ma yaqulun, wa-ghfir li ma la ya'lamun [wa-j'alni khayran min ma yadhmun].
"O Allah, do not take me to task for what they say, and forgive me for what they do not know [and make me better than what they think]."

Allahu akbar.
"Allah is the Greatest."

كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أتاه أمر يسرهُ أو يسرُّ به خر ساجداً شكراً لله تبارك وتعالى
Kana-n-nabiyyu salla-llahu 'alayhi wa sallam idha atahu amrun yussiruhu aw yusirru bihi kharrar sajdan shukran li-llahi tabaraka wa ta'ala.
The Prophet ﷺ, when a pleasant event reached him or delighted him, prostrated in gratitude to Allah the Blessed and Most High.

ضع يدك على الذي تألم من جسدك وقل: بسم الله ، ثلاثاً وقل سبع مرات : أعوذ بالله وقدرته من شر ما أجد وأحاذر
Dad yadaka 'ala-lladhi tu'limu min jasadi wa qul: bismillah (three times), wa qul seven times: a'udhu bi-llahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhir.
Place your hand on the part of your body that hurts and say: "In the name of Allah", three times; then say seven times: "I seek refuge with Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel and fear."

أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات التي لا يجاوزهن بر ولا فاجر من شر ما خلق ، وبرأ وذرأ ومن شر ما ينزل من السماء ، ومن شر ما يعرج فيها ، ومن شر ما ذرأ في الأرض ، ومن شر ما يخرج منها ، ومن شر فتن الليل والنهار ، ومن شر كل طارق إلا طارقاً يطرق بخير يا رحمن
A'udhu bi-kalimati-llahi-t-tammati-llati la yujawizuhunna barrun wa la fajir, min sharri ma khalaq, wa bari'tu wa dha'antu, wa min sharri ma yanzilu mina-s-sama', wa min sharri ma ya'ruju fiha, wa min sharri ma dhara'a fi-l-ard, wa min sharri ma yakhruju minha, wa min sharri fitani-l-layli wa-n-nahar, wa min sharri kulli tariqin illa tariqan yatriqu bi-khayrin, ya Rahman.
"I seek protection by the perfect words of Allah — which neither the righteous nor the wicked can transcend — from the evil of what He created; and I am cured and protected from the evil of what descends from the heaven, from the evil of what ascends to it, from the evil of what was sown on the earth, from the evil of what comes out of it, from the evil of the trials of night and day, and from the evil of every visitor except one who visits with good, O Most Merciful."

عن عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما قال : رأيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يعقد التسبيح بيمينه
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr radiya-llahu 'anhuma qala: ra'aytu-n-nabiyya salla-llahu 'alayhi wa sallam ya'qidu-t-tasbiha bi-yaminih.
From 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both): "I saw the Prophet ﷺ counting the glorifications with his right hand."

إذا كان جنح الليل – أو أمسيتم – فكفوا صبيانكم ؛ فإن الشياطين تنتشر حينئذ ، فإذا ذهب ساعة من الليل فخلوهم ،وأغلقوا الأبواب واذكروا اسم الله ؛ فإن الشيطان لا يفتح باباً مغلقاً ، وأوكوا قربكم واذكروا اسم الله ، وخمروا آنيتكم واذكروا اسم الله ، ولو أن تعرضوا عليها شيئاً ، وأطفئوا مصابيحكم
Idha kana janha-l-layli — aw amsaytum — fakufu sibyanakum, fa-inna-sh-shayatina tantashiru hinidhin. Fa-idha dhahaba sa'atun mina-l-layli fa-khaluhum, wa-ghalliqu-l-abwaba wa-dhkuru-sma-llah, fa-inna-sh-shaytana la yaftahu baban mughlaqan, wa awku qirabakum wa-dhkuru-sma-llah, wa khammu awinatakum wa-dhkuru-sma-llah, wa law an taraw 'alayha shay'an, wa-utfiu masabihakum.
When night falls — or evening comes — hold back your children: the devils scatter at that time. When an hour of the night has passed, let them loose, close the doors and mention the name of Allah: the devil does not open a closed door; cover your vessels and mention the name of Allah, even by placing something upon them; and put out your lamps.
