When one of you marries a woman, or buys a servant, let him say: "O Allah, I ask You for her good and the good for which You created her, and I seek refuge with You from her evil and the evil for which You created her." And if he buys a camel, let him hold its hump and say the same.

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. {Glory to Him who subjected this to us, and we could not have subdued it; and to our Lord we shall return.} O Allah, in this journey we ask You for righteousness and piety, and deeds that please You. O Allah, make easy for us this journey and fold for us its distance. O Allah, You are the companion of the journey and the caretaker of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the hardships of the journey, the gloom of the sight and the bad return — in wealth and family. And on return, he says them and adds: "Returning repentant, worshipping, praising our Lord."

Qala Jabir radiya-llahu 'anhu: kunna idha sa'adna kabbarna, wa idha nazalna sabbahna.

He says Allah is the Greatest on every elevation three times, then he says: "There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is capable of all things. Returning repentant, worshipping, praising our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, helped His servant and defeated the confederates alone."
