Biography of Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari

Abu Masoud Al-Ansari (BS) Abu Masoud Al-Ansari, whose name is: Uqba bin Amr bin Tha'labah bin Asira. It is said: Yaseera, and his lineage has been mentioned in (Aqaba). He is known as Al-Badri, because he lived or visited the waters of Badr and witnessed Aqaba, but he did not witness Badr according to most biographers. And Another report states: He witnessed Badr. Reported by Ubayd Allah ibn Ahmad, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, who said: (And Abu Masoud Uqba ibn Amr ibn Tha`labah ibn Usira ibn Usaira ibn Atiyah ibn Khuddara ibn Awf ibn al-Khazraj. He was the youngest to witness Aqaba in age). And Khadara is the brother of Khudara. He lived in Kufa.
