Biography of Abu Qatada

Al-Kalbi said it, and Ibn Ishaq said it. We have mentioned him in them, and Al-Harith more. And his mother is Kabsha bint Mutahhar ibn Haram ibn Sawad ibn Ghanm ibn Ka'b ibn Salamah. There was disagreement about his witnesses to Badr. Some of them said: It was Badriya. Neither Ibn Uqba nor Ibn Ishaq mentioned him about Badriya. He witnessed Uhud and all the scenes that came after it.
